Kill

Again I am surprised at the stubbornness of the US. First they say that the UN is not strong enough, not capable of a decision. Then who vetoes against condemning the brutal murder by the Israelian army? Didn't Rome fall because it was too powerful?

I don't understand it either.

I don't understand what they think they can gain from standing out.

Me either. One of my student's father was shipped out the other day...and for what? We are getting deeper in to a mess that we shouldn't be in.

How did the world come to this...

Greed. It's coveting what someone else has and power keeps them going so that they may have more of it. That probably isn't all of it, but it is a good part of it.

I like to have things, can be greedy. But greed at the expense of others? Why are so many people so selfish...

Maybe they don't realize they are being greedy. It may seem that they are doing it for the good of the masses...but they don't realize it really isn't for the good of other masses.

That would be a very positive explanation: It would mean that ignorance is the cause, not evil. Which also means it can be solved, as ignorance can be cured, while evil needs to be battled.

So does everybody with common sense.
