I don't count the pre-war world cups, not many teams participated, those tournaments were only for a lucky few.

I dunno, I thought Germany in 94 had a pretty good team. I'm definitely a soccer fan having played for about 12 years, but I don't know exact players and teams...but I do remember watching Bergkamp and being awed.

94? No way. Bulgaria beat them deservedly. You mean 90? The worst worldcup final in history. 74? Home advantage and Dutch arrogance, in any other match the Dutch would have chopped them.

I hope Portugal, root for Costa Rica, but will play for Argentina.
