Een staartklok kwispelt door de tijd
En de camera zoomt in op de ramen
Er achter zit een oude vrouw die niemand kent
Ze heeft geen naam
In de kamer die modern is ingericht
Herkennen wij van vroeger nog een stoof
Ze ziet ons niet, ze hoort ons niet
Want ze is bijziend en doof

De koffie pruttelt op het theelichtje
En ze bladert in haar plaatjesboek
Ze is niet alleen de oude vrouw
Meneer Parkinson is op bezoek

En ze kan nog lezen in haar boek
Omdat haar handen net zo trillen als haar hoofd
En ze heeft geen pijn het oude mens
Meneer Reuma is tijdelijk verdoofd

Op het buffet leunt een vergeeld portret
Tegen een oude kaarsenstandaard aan
Het is een foto van haar man
Die met een vrouw die kanker heet is meegegaan

Ze sluit het boek, ze heeft het uit
En ze laat de handen rusten in de schoot
Ze verwacht bezoek de oude vrouw

what kind of voltage do those aussies used in the electrical outlets??

i know in europe it's different then the US but what about in OZ?

I'm afraid I'm not as much a source on this as you might hope. I hardly use any electrical devices when I travel. If I remember well, it is 110 volt, but the type of plug I couldn't tell. There are plenty Ozzies on LJ, several communities as well. Look at my User Info, aussielj is one of them (I am crap at linking). Good luck.
