Editing memories

I have been using the memories quite a lot, especially for several of the series I write, I think this is a great feature. But with over 300 memories, it does get out of hand now. Several of the posts I wouldn't mind not being memorized. Yet I can't seem to find the way to unmemorize things. So, in short, I don't want to delete the posts (sometimes I can't as they're not mine), but I do want a shorter memories list. How can I do that?

Go to the memories page - click on [edit] at the end of the memory hyperlink.

It brings up the page where you can assign the post to a memory category, andon that page it says:

Give this journal entry a description that you can remember it by. To delete this entry from your list of memorable entries, enter a blank description.

So delete the description in the box and press Submit. That should remove the post from the memories.

Isabel.

They look nicely well organized to me!

They are, but I want less categories, yet still be able to find everything I have written (AND worth remembering) easily.

Ahh... to get rid of a category, you simply have to get rid of all the posts in it. You can do this by moving them to another category. This is done by clicking [edit] after the post in question.

I hope that helps.

Already did so, removed 3 or 4 categories, some moved to others, others not necessary as memories anymore. Thanx for your help!

No problem.

I just want to say, I love the memories feature. Mine is already totally out of hand, but I don't care.

It is a good way for archiving.
