Lazarus

Wasn't he a funny one? Didn't Ibrahim Ferrer worship him in the great documentary on the Buena Vista Social Club? At the moment I am not very excited about him. Lazrurs.2222 is a virus on my computer. Norton Anti-virus detected it, but cannot remove nor quarantaine it. It is not doing any harm at the moment, yet I'd rather not have it on my computer at this moment. What do I do next?

you can reboot into safe mode with command prompt and delete it from the command line. Ugly, but tends to work.

Sounds like the old MS-Dos way. Just change directory until you've got the file and then delete it I guess?

bingo. If you boot into safe mode, the file shouldn't lock itself up and you can just del the file the old fashioned way.

Took me a few attempts to start it in safe mode with prompt, but I did manage in the end! Thanx for your help.

Btw: your CD has been burned and will be sent one day soon.
