Is it possible to actually hack someone's MP3 player?

I am copying some stuff to my MP3 player and songs appear on the player, that I never copied there. Even while I delete them, other songs appear! To make things worse, one of the songs takes over the Windows Media Player soon after that as well.

Not amused!

I suppose anything is possible, although I haven't heard of it. Do you have a virus scanner, and a spyware scanner? You might try running those, and see if you find anything.
