On line betting

After a couple of months, the twenty thousand virtual chips Facebook's application SportsBets gave me to start with, has grown. I've got over 700 million at the moment. A winning percentage between 65 and 70%.

The idea has sprung to mind that this must be good enough to start with proper money. And I know I wouldn't take the same risks if it works with real money, I feel I can read the odds well enough to know how to bet on some sports. Especially when the odds must be wrong, but hardly anybody realize :-)

Anybody experience with real money betting online?

Nope, none whatsoever.
One of my housemates plays poker online. He's been playing for two years now, and he is gradually getting better, in fact he is trying to make a living that way.
But I'm neither a poker player nor a better myself.
Good luck anyway!

I've been betting with the virtual Facebook chips for a while now and have accumulated 150,143,609,720 chips so far.

For real betting I would recommened http://www.partybets.com/ and I've been using them for a few months. They have a large selection of sports to bet on and a good selection of bet types. Football for example, you can bet on half time, full time, first or last goalscorer, exact scores and a few other things. I've got into the doubles, trebles and multi-combinations quite a bit as well. Seems obvious to keep betting on Inter Milan, Manchester United and FC Porto every week but if you have them in a treble you can usually get a good price. The Champions League games are very good to bet on due to the teams all being good so the prices are fairly generous at times. Manchester United, Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea is 23.5-1 so well worth even a Dollar. Also another good thing is if you need the money transferred to your bank account it usually transfers in 2-3 days unlike other sites where it can take weeks.

I've played poker online for a few years now on and off and have decided to stick PartyPoker due to the professional way they've handled the few problems I've had.

I'm not into poker, but I like betting on sports. I had already noticed you were miles ahead of me on Facebook.

Will check that site, thanx for your help.

Yeah the sports you can bet on is impressive, again I love the football bets due to basically being able to bet on any league in the world if my memory serves!!

Then again, there are only a few leagues in the world I know well enough to try to gain some money. Most leagues I think I have a better shot when playing roulette.

LOL same here I've been stung a few times with the league in Portugal!!

I have seen matches in quite a few countries where I wouldn't dare betting nowadays. Portugal isn't one of them, but apart from Porto, there is no team that deserves regular interest..

Yeah Benfica let me down for a 7-time accumulator. I take a two week break from betting if I lose too much in a weekend. :)

Since Eusebio stopped playing, Benfica is not a safe bet anymore.

Ah yes 1975, the year I was born.

Did je play that long? I wasn't aware of that. He must have been way over his peak, I can't recall Benfica nor Portugal from the seventies...

According to Wikipedia he left Benfica in 1975 after 15 years and finished playing in 1978.

He was at least half responsible for England's world cup victory in 1966. Brasil hardly lost those days, winning in 58, 62 and 70. Only in 66 they lost, against Portugal.

Perhaps he should have been knighted in the UK as well...
