Reich - Raniski live
Feb. 5th, 2002 10:47 pmGreat show on German television channel ZDF. This old bloke talking about books for half an hour. That's the whole format, plenty of countries where this wouldn't be aired.
His previous show was even better. He had some guests, all well known critics, they had all read a handfull of books and they discussed. He was brilliant in doing so. His opinions were extreme, but funny to hear. He really slacked of these renowned guests he had. Some even walked out of it. He is the opposite of a chauvinist. He critised new German authors, praised other countries that has got new talent.
Every country should have a Reich - Raniski.
