Martin Ros – De wonderlijke Tour (03-035)

The second cycling book I read during the Tour. I once bought it in a sale. I soon discovered why. Up until then my impression of Ros was not bad. He doesn´t seem a nice person, but at least he seemed the biggest fan I knew of one of my favourites: Fausto Coppi. Ros even wrote some very good books, one on Coppi. This book is a collection of columns he wrote during the Tours of 97 and 98. And to be blunt, it is completely and utterly crap. Facts wrong, repeating the same anecdotes, signs of not understanding the sport well, he completely fell through with this book. Not interesting, not entertaining. Just plain bad.
