Listening to Love Spit Love covering the Smiths. Never heard of the band, yet I like their version of How Soon is Now. I think the influence of the Smiths is underrated. What a great band they were!

It is always fun to play around downloading nearly at random. Spanish band called La Oreja de Van Gogh is funny. Not only their name (Van Gogh´s ear), the first song I found wasn´t bad at all. Let´s get a few more by them.

Club

Got in the supermarket in time, now it´s time to go to the clubhouse. Another meeting. This time we are discussing the book we want to publish in 4 years time, when our club has made it through the first century. You have to start early I guess, so another big project is coming up.

Time to start cooking, I can feel my stomach complaining already.

Idols 2

While playing around on the web, I am listening to the first episode of the second series of Idols. This is such a huge hype nowadays, that I almost feel I shouldn´t miss out. Still don´t understand the reason why over 16.000 losers feel that this show can help them become famous. What´s so good about being famous? Why do all these teenagers take the insults from the jury, even though they deserve to be insulted even worse? There is a lot in this world I do not understand.
