Travis McGee is the journalist on a side track. He has to write an obituary, but the man isn’t dead yet. In the meantime he likes to investigate a death he is convinced is a murder, but a different one than anybody expects. The bomb on the boat was not there for the reason everybody thinks it was. The victims are not the ones they think either. Travis has plenty of clues, but no hard evidence.

Nice and entertaining book. I’ve read more about our hero in the past and probably will read a few more in the future, apparently this is the 20th book about him.
