Just been away for a week, taking 70+ students skiing in Austria. We had a good week, though at times the conditions weren't very good. After a sunny but cold first day, the second til fifth day were all extremely cold. We were skiing at 3000 meters, hence the temperatures were low. Really low. Over 20 degrees below zero is still okay, but with wind and snow it feels even worse. Chill factor gave us -60 I was told one day.
Last day we had a great sunny day again, hopefully the students will remember that day. They didn't seem to mind the weather much, plenty of apres ski for them. With an evening of toboganning included and plenty of evenings in bars it was a good week over all.
Shame I had to catch a cold a day before going home. 16 hours in the bus yesterday didn't help, hoping it would have been 11. In bed by 3.
Hopefully an early night will get me prepared before tomorrow again.
