Usually in the morning I watch the news. It takes about 10 minutes and is repeated continually, so even if you miss something, a few minutes later the same news is on again. It is nice to wake up that way, a good start of the day.
Once every hour, on the hour, the Dutch tv shows a lady who is a deaf interpreter, translating the news into sign language. Great service for those who need it, but a bit distracting to my liking. Yet this morning, at 8, she was doing all her gestures when I got up and couldn't be bothered to change the channel. I was just getting into my shirt, when I heard the following sentence: "In the Michael Jackson trial one of his bodyguard has told the court that he saw the star through a bathroom window having oral sex with a 13 year old."
I wasn't awake enough and fast enough to turn around to see how the interpreter translated that particular sentence into sign language. I missed it. It would have made my day.
