Second look (7)

Tour de France 2005. The second mountain stage in the Pyrenees. I'm at the start. Apart from the cyclists, there are hundreds of others around in some sort of official capacity. Quite often former cyclists. The most popular is Raymond Poulidor, nickname Poupou. Wherever he walks, people applaud and shout his nickname. In his cycling days he was 6 times 2nd in the Tour de France. Not one single day in his career the yellow jersey was his. The longer it lasted, the more popular he got.

I have no clue what his function is nowadays. Somehow I assume he doesn't need a function. He is Poupou. That'll do.
