Grace Smith could be the lousiest PI one can imagine. But that does get her investigation jobs as well. Because sometimes people do want someone to find some things, but not everything. They want an investigator who could help them, even though she wasn’t hired to do so. Fortunately for us, readers, Grace is a very sympathetic figure who follows all leads and brings together the two cases she is working on.

Liz Evans has created a nice character; this is the third book I have read about Grace Smith. Luckily not a series that has to produce two volumes a year, but just one good one once in a while.
