On sunday a football clip. The best penalty ever taken. It takes guts to do this one. It could have easily gone wrong. And on top of that, this is not just a game. This is the deciding penalty kick in the final of the European Championships 1976. Panenka is the first footballer known (there are rumours someone in Austria did a similar trick some years before, but there is no footage of that) to take this penalty. Dutch pundit Jan Mulder wrote a column to change the name of the penalty to Panenka, just to honour him. World champions Germany were beaten by Czechoslowakia because of this penalty.
