Travis McGee is the main character in the series written by MacDonald, with always a colour in the title. McGee is a journalist/p.i. who lives on a houseboat near Miami and only works when he needs some money.
In this book he needs to find out how valuable stamps have been replaced with less valuable ones without the dealer nor the owner knowing. Apart from that he has his own problems, as the place his boat is docked is soon not permissible anymore.
Great story, nice to read with nice weather lying near some water.
