I had a bit of a break when I was away for quite a while in the nineties, their mid-nineties albums were not that exciting either. Their last one (>tk) is great though, really enjoy playing it, I've seen them live twice at the end of 2001, both times well worth it.
If you're doubting about reading the book, Rick de Leeuw has written a book himself, about Richard Koning, a young boy in boarding school who dreams of becoming a football hero. Great read. Kenter's book is good as well, it just left me with as many questions as answers. Usually that's the sign of a good book though!
In tranen was the first song I mailed the lyrics to me girlfriend. (you might have read the entries about her). She came along to the last concert, even though she managed to miss them for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoyed herself, with that song as a candidate for 'our' song.
