Oscar Wilde - The Canterville Ghost (02-030)
It is probably a disadvantage that I bought the easy readers edition of this book. It is published in several European countries especially for students. Or even younger than that, kids in school just learning English. It makes the story very light reading, which I'm not sure is always the case with Wilde. Not that I have read much by him (yet?). Only 6 chapters, 47 pages, this is certainly a children's book. And not even an exciting one. So someday I must get my hands on an original version to really judge it. Unless somebody tells me before that, that I shouldn't bother. Who has read the story?
