Internet connection since 30 hours at home now. I find myself on a mad downloading spree (Morcheeba, Herbert Grönemeyer, Tori Amos, Rammstein, World Party and a few others), while serving sites I haven't looked at for ages. Next to that I am skimming my way through Amazon.co.uk who made me a nice recommendations list based on the titles I had read already. Takes me ages as well.

Tonight I was going to do some work for school and next to that do some work for the next fanzine of my footy team. I have done zilch. Somehow I haven't mastered a way to cope with the luxury yet. I'll get there. Someday soon. I guess. If I grow up.

At the moment it sure looks like it. Which means I have to have a strategy as well. Bollocks, another 6 hours online saturday, starting to rank every available player..

What would you recommend me, say someone who does like Neil Young, Lou Reed, Radiohead, Portishead and all the names mentioned in the original post?

It's really hard for me to decide, because alot of what's on there is what I'm currently obsessed over. Alot of it would trace back to Radiohead, though...at least in the sense that a band like Coldplay traces back to Radiohead.

Start out with those and you should be good. If you end up really liking one of the bands, let me know and I'll upload more...especially if it's Doves... I've been itching to upload more Doves stuff lately anyways.

I tried downloading the Doves, but somehow it went wrong. Should I do something else than just click on the name in the list?
