Why do I check at least 3 of my e-mail addresses at least 6 times every day?

And why haven't I gone to bed yet, even though I'm knackered?

You do that too? Hahah. I am constantly checking my inboxes, thinking there will be something miraculously fun or entertaining or interesting... and yet there is nothing!

Yes that much is true! ;) But these comments of mine are not really worth the trouble of checking the inbox. haha.

ANY comment in my LJ is worth cheking. Perhaps the comment on its own might be insignificant, the fact that somebody does an effort to let you know never is.

By the way, I still have not found out about the books you asked about. I somehow doubt they exist in Icelandic, but I could be totally wrong. I will look tomorrow. :)

I assume it's a very British expression I picked up a few years ago..
