The more I think about it, the less the whole Freedom/French thing makes sense. If the French were somehow actually threatening our freedom, I could see it as a semi-patriotic gesture. But this is just stupid.

And yes, I know it's satire. Some of it is, anyway. They really are re-naming french fries and french toast and other things in parts of the country. It's still stupid.

The worse thing is that too many people do not see the irony, do not realise that there is satire involved. Or that the whole world is making fun..
