departure

This'll be the last time I will write here for a while, as in about 30 hours time I will be on a plane, heading for down under. I've done my last shopping today, tomorrow is for packing and then it's off on thursday.

It seems to me that my journal hasn't been a big hit up until now, possibly because I haven't put a link on my website, so basically nobody knows about it...

oh well, nothing to be bothered about I guess. Should somebody somehow bump into this journal, please do feel free to mail me, I am very curious who you are and how you got here!

Expensive at the moment, what with the Olympic Games, and the inevitable price-hikes.

My brother is in Cairns at the moment. Friends of his who have been staying in a particular hostel in Sydney are being kicked out soon to make way for people who have pre-paid extortionate prices to stay during the Games. Perhaps you're one of them!

Just arrived in Sydney yesterday. True everything is ecxpensive, but I'm here for now, I'm still in a hostel and can be for a bit more, hope to land a job amongst the volunteers soon, if not, I'm out of here!
