After winning my NHL league, without actually enjoying it though, I am due to win both my NBA leagues this week. Roto is a certainty, 10 points clear. The only remaining question is how many points I will get. 88, 89 or even 90. With 90 I can see myself getting high in the Yahoo overall rankings. I've been up to 339 one week, perhaps the first 300 is still possible. My HTH is still not a certainty. I'm leading 6-3 in the final, with a few days to go. I can only follow one strategy: play whatever I've got and hope that the extra steals, assists and blocks compensate for the low averages and plenty Turnovers. It's a shame I can't see the last few days, with me in the middle of nowhere. I'll have to wait until I get back to find out.

Now I must start packing. The alarm is due in 6 hours and a bit and I haven't even started yet.

You are like some kind of fantasy god or something. I have a feeling you'll do a lot better in LJFBL this year than you did last year.

God?

I don't think so. I win public leagues. The ones where half the people abandon their team after drafting and a quarter loses interest somewhere during the season. In the end there are 2-3 teams competing. I win on dedication.

And in LJFBL I'm not last anymore, but there is no guarantee that I will finish higher than last year..

I still think you'll do ok in LJFBL. Your hitting is doing very well, and your pitching will improve once Maddux gets his stuff figured out. Just be patient.

Maddux already had a good start, I assume he'll rack up another 15 wins at least this season. The rest of my pitching is not really up to scratch yet either though. If Hoffman comes off the DL the second half, I could be better of then.

Until Hoffman comes back, you might be in a bit of trouble in Saves. It looks like you only have one closer right now, which will hurt you a lot in that category. You might want to pick someone else up, just so that you don't fall too far behind and lose the whole category. I have the opposite problem. I have four closers and two middle relievers right now, and that's just too many people. I need guys at other positions, but I don't want to drop any of the guys I currently have.

There aren't any closers readily available. I got close with the guy from Montreal/San Jose (what was his name again, Biddle?), he got me some saves but is not a full time closer. Might need to do some more trading..
