Mart Smeets – Bruisend (03-013)

The annual christmas book by Smeets. He writes so much, there is always enough material for a book. Just throw together all his columns and two weeks before Christmas you’ve got a new book. So by default this cannot be his best book. Though I still enjoy reading it, it certainly isn’t a bad book. Three parts in this hardback (normally his books are pockets immediately), sports, music and food. Three important parts of his life. Three that play a major role in mine as well, I have said before that Smeets is one of my favourites. The best stories are his diary notes on the winter Olympics and the Tour de France, the two events I love to watch in front of the television 24/7 if possible.
