Mart Smeets - Netwerk (01-090)
Nov. 24th, 2001 03:04 pmSmeets usually writes columns, mostly about sports, but also about music and travels. Basically the things I like to write about myself, therefore also read about. More and more I find myself with the exact same thoughts as he has. He is a sports presenter, more than once I said something at home, which he immediately says on tv after that. I wish I could sell my books like he does. One percent would do, his books always sell well.
This one is a novel, it is about tennis, even though his stories usually are about cycling, american sports and his own life. It is an easy read, as all his books are. The story isn't brilliant, a top tennis player who wins tournaments, shags plenty of women and gets confronted with dope rumours.
Good book. Not his best, but I enjoyed it.
