Fantasy Football
Nov. 23rd, 2001 10:39 pmI don't understand anything that has to do with NFL/AFL football. To me football is what the rest of the world calls soccer. But I like fantasysports, so I went into the draft, got a bunch of players who I had never heard of. I lost the first five games in a row, was dead last in my league.
I made some changes, based on the fantasy points they got in the first matches, kept some others. Still don't know anything. Now I have won 5 games in a row, have beaten two leagueleaders, have the longest winning streak after beating the other one with 4 in a row last week and am a play off contender again.
In the meantime, the NBA is the one I pretend to understand. I started off well, led the league for a week, was third for a while, by now I'm 11th out of twelve, have started my line up regularly and see my season disappear beyond me.
Strange sports.
