My kitchen is a complete mess again. I should have done the dishes. I didn't, it's two o'clock, so I won't anymore tonight. I'm going to bed. C U again tomorrow LJ-land!
Since you asked about that LJFBL trade, let me tell you what I'm thinking. First of all, I don't think you are losing that much power. I really don't think Furcal will keep up his power surge for the second half. I just don't see it. But even so, Cintron and Robers have only been playing for half the year so far. Their stats are a lot less because of this. I proposed this trade thinking that I would get a little higher batting average, you would have fewer strikeouts, and the other categories would about even out. Actually, the guy I most wanted here was Casey Blake. I really need an infielder, and this was the best deal I could come up with to find a good one.
So that's what I was thinking. Sorry if it didn't work out for you.
I noticed the two hadn't been playing too much, therefore the stats won't add up as easy. It's just sometimes deals can become fairly complicated for someone overseas who follows baseball mainly through Fantasy Baseball. I think I have a fair number of players in my head by now, yet it will take a while to see new players coming up, unless they are Dominican or a Brave, in which case I might have seen it happen before.
Keep trying those trades, it makes it worth playing, even should I reject the majority of them :-))
I'll keep throwing them at you as they come to me. I try to come up with something that improves both teams. At least, that's how they play out in my head! Actually, I'm kind of glad you turned this one down. I was just looking at the numbers, and it looks like a really bad deal for me all around. I gain a little bit with Dmitri Young over Carl Everett, but I lose a lot on both infielders. So I guess I'm happy that the deal didn't happen.
Ho there, stop taking the piss! You'd be happy with Furcal at the moment, he might not cool down at all. He's on a good team and he always had the potential, just didn't live up to it yet.
