gerbieThe Netherlands won their quarterfinal match against Russia without many problems. Two mistakes from the Russian leftfielder (one simple catch he missed and a throwing error) helped them to a 4-0 lead after the first. It is difficult to come back as the underdog then. The Russians didn't, they had 4 hits over the whole match. Final score: 8-0
Having reached the last four means the Dutch have qualified for the OQT next week, but also for the World Championships in two years time. Surprise opponent in the semi's will be Sweden who managed to upset the other big favorite Italy.
