Henk Spaan – Mijn vrouw is weg (03-029)
Spaan writes columns. Together these form this book. He is a good observer, knows to pick some things that seem obvious, yet manages to write a nice piece on them. If you see him, one would say that he is not a very friendly man, yet through his these columns (and his poems!) he appears the romantic who enjoys the little things in life. The title refers to a column that appears three times in this book: My wife is gone. Unlike what one would think immediately, this is only for a few days (work or something), yet he knows he can’t cope without her. So he has to call her in France, asking where to find what in the kitchen. Very nice bedtime literature.
