Possibly! It's quirky, but delectable, female-sung pop/rock from Canada... but very, very good.

I've been downloading loads of songs... so far I like "Succexxy" the best... but everything else I've heard so far is just about as good. Yummy! :)

If you like Ed Harcourt, give David Mead, Joseph Arthur, and Teitur a try. Especially Teitur, though I think he's from around your area, so you might have heard of him already. I'm not sure if I have Joseph Arthur, but I know I have David Mead and Teitur here.

Thank you very much. Busy downloading some of their music. At first sight, Teitur seems more to my liking than David Mead.
