Sunday = footy

Bad weather, not ideal at all for football, yet we were a week behind, hence a match for us, luckily not very early, after the party last night, that included a fair amount of rum.

We had to visit the number 3 of the table, not an easy task therefore. But as we are a good counter attack team, we florish in away games. At half time we were leading 0-1, despite the chances were for them. Second half same idea: they attacked, they had chances, we waited and got a few as well. In the end we won 2-4, frustrating our opponents, which included a former student of mine. I scored twice btw and created easy opportunities for our othere 2 goalscorers. A good sunday therefore, our third win of the season.

Depends on how you define a good player. No, I don't think I am, though at my level I was. My club plays 4th amateur league, which is 7th nation wide. I was good 10 years ago at that level. Nowadays I play in the 4th team of this club, 2 more levels down even, I think it is not arrogant to say that I am the only player at this team that could play higher than this. But there are still tens of thousands of better players in my country.

You still play or have you stopped now you are a student?

Although I am continuing soccer at the
university, it is very good at surrounding people, and it is serious to always follow practice. However, I think that it will try hard to a slight degree, and practice will be followed.

Yes, certainly. I try to read a lot, at least one book every week, though time is always short. I write reviews for every book here on LiveJournal as well.

I write a lot. Not only here on LiveJournal, but also in the magazine of my local football club, on a website about cycling and a few other things.

If I can I visit a concert or a theatre, yesterday I saw John Cale (remember the Velvet Underground?), saturday I will see some local poet who also sings.

Inbetween all that I try to see my girlfriend as often as possible, though she is very busy as well. Since a month I am also an uncle, so if I can I visit my sister and her little girl to.

What do you do apart from study and soccer?
