Just heard a commercial using Paul Weller. This week, while playing records I also played 2 Style Council albums. I really like Paul Weller, some of his solo work and everything he did with the Jam was great. The Style Council wasn't his best period though. Apart from some good songs, the albums aren't worth listening to. I realised this even more when after a few minutes into the second album I was listening to a weird sound. It turned out that it was an album to be played on 45rpm instead of 33. I hadn't noticed until halfway during the second song.
