Second look (16)

A few kilometers downstream from Manaus, the Rio Negro and the Rio Solimões meet. From that point onward it is called the Amazon. One river comes from Peru, the other from Colombia. The rivers differ in temperature, sediments and speed. Hence they do not mix. For over 6 kilometers they run next to each other.
Something as simple as water, yet so fascinating to see.
