When I get a shoppingtrolley outside the supermarket, I tend to go for the shortest line, even if it is an effort to get a trolley out, from behind others. Then when I'm done, I put the trolley back in the longest one, even if that one is already on the road.

I don't know if it is just trying to be annoying or if there is a deeper meaning behind it.
