It looks like a nice road. And it is the just the road we want to take, across the mountains. New tarmac, we are chuffed. Okay, some rocks have fallen on the road, but we can easily avoid them, they are small. We can avoid having to go to Tapes, and the dust track that lies beyond that tiny village. Before dark we should be back in Hersonissos.

And then after the next turn, this is our view...

That's pretty much how the famed Mulholland Drive ends at its eastern extremity.

Well, not its eastern extremity, but a section of it.
