Half a mile away we saw the elephants crossing the road, cars had to wait. By the time we arrived a hand full still followed the crowd. Even some smaller ones. The last one then turns towards our jeep. The ranger sat incredibly close and didn't even dare to blink. The driver had the gear in reverse, but didn't dare to start the car either.

We were all incredibly silent, the status quo seemed to last for age, though it probably was less than half a minute. Then the elephant turned back and followed the other elephants. We were able to continue our road then. We were too impressed to notice anything else though.

Then do so. It isn't that complicated. Just don't go two weeks all inclusive, but go one week and fly a bit further.
