83 others did as well. Does anybody know any of them? Are they still here as active users?

Apparently LJ attracts nearly a 1000 new people every day. The biggest group is in between 15 and 19. Which makes me old.

I love these kind of useless statistics...

I'm not sure. I probably would have ended up as a complete weirdo, only able to communicate via computers. Not a good idea.

I love any kind of stats, and the useless ones are the best. Speaking of useless stats, did you ever get hooked up with the [livejournal.com profile] ljfbl?

Saw the link in your journal, reacted to the last post and volunteered to join, so I guess we might be competing each other the coming season...

Oh, that's such a sweet deal. I'm looking forward to it. I hate being in leagues where I really don't know anybody.

Why the fuzz about a draft? If everybody joins Yahoo, they will do an automatic draft, fairest option I guess. Then again, I'm not an expert, I have to admit. A live draft seems nearly impossible with 10-ish people all on-line at the same time, that would be utopia.

Considering it would take over 20 hours, utopia is a good word. I'm with you on this one. I'm not so much a fan of the list draft that Yahoo does, but I wouldn't mind doing an e-mail draft. I just hope that the folks in the league don't bicker so much that it's not any fun for anyone the rest of the year.

What would be the advantage of e-mail over Yahoo using your pre-draft selection? I can see the advantage that you can adapt your strategy while drafting, disadvantage would be that we have to start months before the season..

I think it is pretty important in a Roto-style league (which is what this one appears to be) where you have to have balance. You really do need to adjust your strategy as you go. I know every time I've done the pre-draft list selection, I always waive my last three or four guys before the season starts because they are just worthless.

True, I always try to check more often the days that the auto-draft can be, first choice in left over free agents. The disadvantage is equal for everyone though..

I think it was hoodcity who had a link in his journal. I'm not sure anymore, I forgot to mark it...
