I'm still in doubt. More car rants (easy), describing my most remarkable students, as I have done already once a couple of months ago, or a series on memorable concerts I visited over the last two decades.

What would YOU like to read?

I would like to read

Only kidding, memorable concerts would be very interesting since i've never been to a concert in my entire life.

Too busy this week, but next week I'll start on concert memories. I can't believe you never went to one. No bands ever come to geordie land that are interesting enough?

oh plenty bands etc i've just not something i've bothered about. My mate @ work Andy goes to all the bands that play Newcastle University and Newcastle Arena like Pulp/Blur etc (mainly indie stuff i think).

Some bands I wouldn't mind seeing, it's just not as easy in a small country like mine. Bands like Pulp and Blur come for one or two gigs, completely the other side of the country, sold out within days. Perhaps I should move back to Amsterdam.

Hmmm moving back to Amsterdam just to see Pulp and Blur!! I think with me it's just that i don't like any bands so much that i'm bothered about seeing them live. (my sister points out that i'm too old... cheeky bugger that she is).

I wouldn't do it that way around, it's just, having lived in Amsterdam twice, I know it's so much easier to see some good concerts if you're close. There are plenty of bands I wouldn't mind seeing. And old is relative. I'm half a decade ahead of you, still visit the occasional gig.

too many rants here on lj already, so I'll go for Door Number Three, the concert series

I'll skip the rants then. They do tend to get boring I agree. But it is a relief as well though..

I'll start the concerts first, rants are too obvious.

concerts. I've been to a couple really good ones. I would have to say that the Prince concert that I went to totally blew me away. The guy is like 44 and can still rock the house!! He's great!

I've got a tape from a Prince-concert, not bad. I do like some of his albums, but he's made some that weren't very interesting in my opinion. But I can imagine a concert being worth visiting.

Since this is your journal, I suppose I expect you to write about whatever youwant :)

Rant and vent if you feel the need to, post your remarks about your students if that is on your mind, and tell us all bout the concerts you been to. And everything else you think is interesting for us or that you feel you should get of your chest +)

just my 2 eurocents

I'll start on the series soon then, gives my LJ a bit of a purpose again.

Yeah, it's your journal, so put what you want in it.

But the concerts seem to have the consensus.

You are entitled to your own opinion though, you don't have to go with the consensus...

You mean the user pic? The drag queen? Taken last year in the gay pride parade in Sydney. Thought it was a nice picture. It's not me, if you were guessing.
