Danke. I learned a few not so rude swears today. Again, I don't know how to spell them, but I say them well, apparently.

Please do try. I can help if you want me to.

Go on then, say some of the words you already know or words you'd like to know.

(how can I refuse a lady who says 'I do' to me?)

Hah. You'd be amazed how many have managed it.

Okay... I'm saying the words out loud right now. :P

Okay, beaten.

Perhaps write them down phonetically might work...

Well, let's see. There's rotsac? And potferdicky? And something that means something about a penis... maybe a rotten penis. But I've forgotten how to say that one which is a shame since it was the best one she said.

Rotzak is almost perfect, potverdikkie is used by people who do not dare to say godverdomme (God damned) and the last one probably ended with lul. Oetlul?

Any decent words as well?

ummm.... lekker, ummm... the thing you say before you eat (I'm not even going to try and spell that!) and the words for the suits in Mahjong. :)

Lekker is a great word. It can be said about any nice experience to your senses. Food, booze and sex are the most obvious ones.

The other one you mean is Eet Smakelijk.

I'm not familiar with Mahjong, so I'm afraid I can't help you on that one.

umm... ok. Signs, which sounds much like the English. Circles which sounds like kringlejes or something and bamboo which is... well, bamboo. Then there's Wind which are winds and dragons which are drak?

I like Lekker.

Everybody likes lekker ;-)

Signs doesn't ring any bell. Circles will be Kringetjes. Bamboo is the same, and a dragon is a Draak. Boardgame isn't it?

Umm... kinda, but there's not board. You play with two dice and then three suits pf fat tiles that have nine in each suit and then four of each of the four winds, four of each of the four flowers and four of each of the green ,red, and white dragons.

I've played many games on computers, back in the 486-days, yet nowadays I never feel so sad as to do a game on my own anymore.

That's a good thing, I think. Where have you been?

Had a week skiing with my students in Italy. Came back feeling ill, hence haven't been online much since.

Very good. A lot of them learned a lot in a week, luckily I was able to do some fun skiing myself as well.

I come from a very flat part of Canada so only the wealthy ski, really. As a result I can hardly do it at all.

I am from the Netherlands. A tiny country with shares it's highest point (321 mtr, less than 1000ft) with Belgium and Germany. Need I say more?

Heh :) Good point. But it is closer and cheaper to ski in Europe. Everything is so much closer together and public transport is so much more functional.

True, everything is closer. Yet also much more crowded. Travelling can get more complicated because of the masses.
